What is The Dang musical theatre Syllabus?

The Dang Theatre and Dance Syllabus evolved from the Urdang brand which is synonymous with the delivery of high-quality performing arts training. The Dang has recognised the need for an innovative and modern progressive training programme designed for aspiring musical theatre and dance students and performers.

The Dang Theatre and Dance Syllabus was created to offer up to date, industry relevant and well-rounded training programmes in various areas of Dance and Musical Theatre. With a wealth of both industry and educational knowledge, the Dang Syllabus Development team have used their years of combined experience to ensure that each step of their syllabi is at the appropriate pace and level for the candidate, encourages safe practice in both dance and vocal studies, promotes in-depth study and understanding and gives candidates the freedom of independent study and opportunity to express their individual performance style. Throughout the graded syllabus the tasks have been designed to prepare students for college auditions and to provide access to a breadth of performance material in order to further their contextual and historical understanding of the genre.
